An affordable, classically styled, raised pillar fly reel! Our Caps Airedale reels complement any old or new bamboo rod perfectly, they also look great on vintage glass rods and modern graphite rods! Featuring a cast 6061 aluminum frame, solid faced spool, brass axle/pillars and finished in classic silver. The chrome, curved handle is fitted with a black bakelite knob and the simple click/pawl drag is smooth and exerts just the right amount of pressure for a reel of this size. Don't settle for some generic single action reel, outfit that old Montague or Actionrod with a timeless Airedale reel from Caps. A simple flip of the reel converts from left to right hand retrieve. Suitable for line sizes 1, 2 or 3.
