I grew up fishing for estuary Stripers with a Garcia 3000 reel.  They were made for freshwater but held up beautifully in the saltchuck.  The reel features an anti-revers lever, open face, on/off clicker and a pop-out spool and a 1:4.4 retrieve ration.  It has a strong bail-spring.

This reel still works smoothly and seems to be in fine condition mechanically.  Cosmetically, it has some rubs and scratches but no rust or dents.  One of the three small screws on the gearbox housing is missing.

Reel it in........!!!
