MINNKOTA 8 SPD 41 LBS THRUST FOOT STEER TROLLING MOTOR For Sale

This is a Minnkota #599 trolling motor. The label says"#599~ 41lbs.thrust~8 speeds~ 12-24 volt. We connected the motor to a battery and all of the functions work. The original 3 pin power connector is present and there are 2 red wires and a black wire~ if you connect the ground to the black and the positive to either of the red wires, the motor functions in all speeds. There are 4 speed selections and apparently they count 4 in 12 volt and 4 more in 24 volt. The entire unit is in good, used condition, but the steering cables will have to be changed.(see pix). They tell me any motorcycle shop can make these cables. The control center has a foot pedal that steers the motor, a foot switch that operates the motor, a main switch and a speed selector as well as a continuous or momentary selector switch.
