As a lifetime member of Muskies Inc., and fishing Muskies for over 25 years, I ask myself where were titanium leaders when I was fishing Muskies.
My leaders are made with titanium wire.
They might seem a bit more expensive but in the long run they are not!
Titanium leaders can be used over and over again, they just don’t break or kink like those sold in tackle shops. There are a lot of leaders on the market, generics that can be used for any fishing situation.
Forget mono or fluorocarbon leaders, Muskies or Kingfish will just cut right through it; trust me I have lots of experience with both species of fish. A Kingfish is a saltwater Muskie, lots of teeth.
Components used are from American Fishing Tackle Co, a sponsor and a big player when it comes to Kingfish tournaments and saltwater fishing.
The leaders are about 18 ~ 20 inches long.
The wire is woven to the components and then crimped. Titanium knots like the Clinch or Albright do not slip if tied correctly, I prefer to use a 'Weave Knot'. It takes a little longer to tie but I guarantee it will not slip. If the fishing tackle industry had to tie 'Weave Knots' on every rig they would go broke, I am already broke so I do it the right way . . ha, ha.
If you prefer I will make a custom length leader for you. Your length, titanium wire from 20 ~ 100 lb. test.
Made in the U.S.A. by an angler for anglers!
Check out my work you will not be disappointed.
Free shipping on custom or larger orders; great opportunity to get a bunch made for your fishing buddies.
Don't forget to check out the Muskie Sucker Rigs.
