Two Penn Fathom Master 600 Downriggers For Sale

Before we start, please read the following: Prior to August 11, 2009 we had 1850+ transactions, with a 100% positive feedback rating. On August 11, 2009, that changed to 1 negative, as a very disgruntle buyer failed to read our very clearly spelled out listing. At the end of the auction, and after receiving the items, this person emailed me and "assumed", and "thought" the items came with more than what was in the listing. This person wanted additonal items, free of charge. Unable to come to agreement on returning the items, this person left us a negative. So... Please, carefully read the description, and study the photos, as you will be receiving exactly what is pictured. Nothing more. Nothing less. With that said, let the fun begin, and enjoy our auctions. You are bidding on Two Penn Fathom Master 600 Downriggers in good condition. Everything on both of these units functions perfectly. I am uncertain how much cable is on either unit, but it appears to be in good condition. One unit does have a splice in the cable as shown in the photo. I don't know if this was a repair, or if additional cable was added. Also, one of the units has some light spots on the spool, and the other has two red pen marks on the depth counter. Both units have a 24 inch boom out reach. Both swivel at the end. I usually remove the boom, pulley, and crank handle prior to shipping. Re-assembly is a snap, and takes less than 5 minutes. Boat mounting hardware is not included. This auction is for two downriggers only.

Don't be fooled by the other listings that are saying you are buying a "refurbished", or "reconditioned" Penn downrigger. There are two things that rarely go wrong with these: Internal gears. They are under no stress and control the depth counter only; or the dog spring. This controls the ratchet mechanism. Once again......rarely goes bad. The drags washers rarely go out on these units as well. Penn makes the best manual downrigger out there, and are built to last!!!
