Details:

This lure will catch any fish that eat shrimp. We have tested this lure at a popular inlet in Miami, Florida for tarpon and found it to get as many bites as live shrimp. Casting to the rolling tarpon yielded the best results.

Here is an excerpt from DOA website: “This lure became an immediate fishing success story because fishermen recognized that the unique design features found in all D.O.A. Shrimp resulted in the creation of the world's most perfect artificial shrimp lures. Unlike the clumsy imitations that preceded them, D.O.A. Shrimp always have "live shrimp" looks and swimming action. With their downward facing, vibration legs and consistent level drop rate D.O.A. Shrimp Lures have successfully fooled almost every species of fish that feed on live shrimp. Fishermen need only to present the lures with a natural slow retrieve to be insured of many memorable days on the water. And don't forget - if you limit yourself to using D.O.A.Shrimp Lures for only salt water action, you'll be missing lots of great fresh water fishing fun. The 2" shrimp may be used as a fly or a teaser in front of other D.O.A. products.”

Rating: Looks So Real, People Can't Tell!
Reviewed on November 4, 2009 by Mike from South Florida

I have fished the DOA shrimp numerous times off the beach and in the trough. The shrimp looks so real that people think I'm using live bait. I have pulled out some really nice snook out of the trough while others are casting their arms off trying to get a bite.

The technique is quite important as you want to let it sink and look natural and then twitch it off the bottom. I have also had success by making it jump across the surface as they do when they get frantic and are being hunting by fish.

I highly recommend this in any fishermans tackle box. Just about all fish eat shrimp!

I use this to cast into docks and ledges and by twitching it, I get very good bites. No need to buy live shrimp when you have great lures and dumb fish :)
