With May coming to a close and June quickly approaching the juvenile Tarpon bit is in full swing in Marco Island and Naples. By the end of June I will be fishing large Tarpon on the nearshore wrecks of the Everglades but for now I am stalking my favorite fish. The juvenile tarpon can be found aywhere in the 10,000 Islands bt I like to catch them in the creeks and river mouths that line the back country. They jump like crazy and fight hard. I can't think of a more worthy advesary on light tackle. Come and join for a light tackle adventure not soon forgotten! Tight Lines and light winds - Capt. Jesse Karen http://www.madsnookin.coim

Bio: A typical day out on the water, is never so typical. We start out with a leisurely ride through the backcountry in Mangrove lined channels. I almost always see MANATEE, usually see big ALLIGATORS and don\'t be surprised to see a BALD EAGLE or two! The water is golden brown, typically too dark to see through until we start stalking fish in the shallows. Almost immediately, bait will be jumping, tarpon will be rolling and gulping air and snook will be \"Popping\" the surface catching bait. I call my fishing experience unique. I do however understand the urge for fresh fish, and if you want it fresh, I\'ll get it for you! I have found a reliable, fun and action packed way to catch some of the most sought after game fish and I am anxious to share it with you. In as little as 4 hours we can catch Snook, Tarpon, Redfish, Trout, Snapper, Shark, Jack, Grouper, Sheepshead and more!
