The lake elevation is 629.07. This is not official, but, baring any further rainfall on the watershed, the lake should be close to cresting. There is plenty of clear water on the lower end of the lake and fishing is excellent with several fish in the 15lb. range being pulled the past few days. The fish are still on the ledges but some are being caught in deep water also. Live shad is the bait of preference, but, can be very difficult to catch at times.
