The last few weeks have been pretty hectic. I have been running full days and have had 9 days where I added a half day in the evenings after already fishing a full day. So That's why you haven't seen any reports from me.

The best bite going right now is the deep bite. There are some pretty big schools running around out there. Big worms, spoons, crankbaits, jigs and rigs, fish head spinners. Whatever it takes to get them going. When they are going good it is nothing to see 10 3 lbers chase your bait in or come swimming in with the fish you are catching. Current is key right now. With out it, it's just a grind. When they are pulling you will see big pods of bait working the surface and fish schooling on top and when they aren't it is like the dead sea out there. If you have the patience you can sit there and work the areas and catch a good bag.

There is a flipping bite going on also. Big jigs, craws, and beaver type baits are working the best but it is hard to go and do this all day when you know the chance of hitting that big school is out there.

I am selling fathers day certificates for those who are interested.

Good luck and make sure to drink plenty of fluids when you are out.
