Florida Keys Flats Fishing Report: Jan 8th HAPPY NEW YEAR! The weather and the fishing continue to be great here in the Keys.. Water temperatures are in the mid 70's.. The last several days have been very good for permit in the back country. Lots of permit on the coral heads and on the flats.. The very beginning of the incoming tide has been good for bone fish.
