PART 1 - Great trip to Ukee, Vancouver Island Chinook fishing ...today was an awesome day to be on the water at the SW corner - we found a little pinnacle that produced nothing but big fish for the first hour that we started working it. All three of us had fun - I was tagged out on my springs in the first 30 minutes and then proceeded to puke my guts out like I normally have over the past 4 years...kind of weird though, because when i was younger I never ever chowder'd the tide. Must be age creeping up...LOL :) My first fish was a 22 and the second made 34 - while both Cheech and Brian battled out a few and then Brian landed an 18. Cheech was king his fish put out a smooth fight - he got a big fat healthy slab that hit 38. We also had a few coho, one nice hatch met a timely death while visiting the priest. ;) He was sweet, almost made 9lbs. Suffice to say, no flatty's for us today - the spots that we targeted did not lend we to deep lines and 12 lbs balls. Plus I lacked my game by transitioning into Mr.upchuck after mastering my catch early in the game. We had a gas, great company, good laughs and no biggy boat issues - so all is well. Cheech's boat is a fish magnet...anyone who has been out can fully attest to that... :) 8) Cheech, thank you once again for a demonsterously successful day and your friendship... 8) :) Views: 218 Rating:

July 16 Chinook Salmon Fishing ONLY on hawgnsonstv! July 16 2009 Lake Michigan, Illinois & Wisconsin.Chinook Salmon(Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) Fishing. We launched at North Point Marina in Winthrop Harbor. We had our lines in the water by 5:30 am & docked at 12:001pm.... 3 Chinook Salmon(Oncorhynchus tshawytscha) the biggest weighing 10.5 lbs. We were trolling at depths from 65 to 98 feet. Columbia River Spring Chinook Fishing. March 2010 Fishing for Spring Chinook on the Columbia River with reknowned guide Bill Swann. Trolled the area on the Washington side form the Condo Complex to just past the I-5 bridge. Using cut-plug herring/flasher/dropper weight to work the bottom to just above. Steve Talkington is fighting a Chinook that was hooked just in the shade under the bridge. Bill estimated the weight to be 20-25 LBS. Views: Rating:
