Squeers Lake 2007 Wow! This was an amazing day! I got to take a day of school to go fishing with my dad because Squeers Lake is a stock lake and they only open it up once a year. This was the second time I was able to go ice fishing this year because, as you can see, we didn't get a lot of snow up here in Canada this winter. But then again, it was also the last weekend in March, but still! We had 6 skidoos, and 1 quad out on the ice, and we had a blast! Boundary Waters-BWCA-Gunflint Trail-Grand Marais We stayed at the Bearskin lodge- http://www.bearskin.com this summer. It was awesome. Very nice accomodations on a great lake-East Bearskin Lake. I hooked this Northern on large Daredevil. I had one twice the size the next day that broke my line at the boat with the same lure. Really-it's true-not a fish story-I have witnesses.
