Crab & Dab 4-5-09 A slow day of crabbing and sanddab fishing. Our GPS module was not responding so we had to blind drop our crab pots. We dropped one pot in a sandy area and three pots in what we thought were rocky areas, then went sanddab fishing. Rock fish big Lingcod saving fish with barotrauma SFD Rock fishing out of Half Moon Bay, California. Bill Gygax and I left Newark at 5 AM with a easy minus tide launch at the Pillar Point harbor. We had squid and anchovy (just in case we had a chance at Halibut) We went straight to Montara. We were fishing at 70- to 88 feet north of the light house about a mile.
