Nothing special but without fishfinders they get into the crappie and have a ball. Fishing the way it should be simple. Here we see the duo doing their best to "one up" Charlie Moore. They don't need no sponsors nor big boat with hundreds of fishing poles to outfish that big mouth. What they over is down and dirty old fashioned FISHING! Things look pretty much the same on Chebeague Island today as they did throughout the last century. Streets have no names, and everyone knows each other, their kids and even their dogs. About 300 people live on the island year around, either fishing or servicing the fishing village. That number swells to about 1800 in the summer. The Chebeague Island Inn, a beautifully restored 1920s hotel, where guests enjoy cool nights and front porch days. The Great Chebeague Golf Club is adjacent to the inn, and is a public 9 hole golf course with ocean views at every hole.
