Kayak Fishing, Sailing and Trolling off Breezy Point, MD on Oct 25, 2009 Kayak Fishing/Trolling while Sailing off Breezy Point (Mid Chesapeake Bay), Maryland on Oct 25, 2009. I expected a trophy Striped Bass (striper). But I ended up with a 24" and bunch of small striped bass. Fishing was not good near Breezy Point today. It was not a productive day for many boat-anglers. And the striped bass caught by the boat-anglers were small. Bluefish were gone back to the ocean due to the cold water temp at 60F. I am expecting big trophy striped Bass for next 4-5 weeks. Bald Eagle Catching Fish in Pond - Columbia Maryland A bald eagle showed up at the pond across the street one day for some lunch. He would hover over the water until he spotted some fish then he'd dive in. Its pretty darn rare to see bald eagles in this part of Maryland.
