Giant Shark Sleeping off of Boston Massachusetts Fishing out on Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary on a perfect calm day we saw some action on the horizon and decided to check it out. As we approached we could see the dorsal and tail fin of a large shark. Typically a basking shark which are very harmless we came very close to observe it but at the last second you can see that this was not backing shark. Crane Beach 7/14/09 Striped bass Fishing MA 29 inch striped bass fly fishing. 7/14/09 5% of my theories are 100% right all the time! My theory was that the Fly Fishing Guys would do better than any plug guy at Cranes right now. Therefore, to put my theory to the test I grabbed one of the better fisherman & Fly Guys I knew in the area. SANDWICH, MA- Missing Fishermen Rescued Off Cape Cod Coast The two fishermen who went missing off the coast of Cape Cod have been rescued. The crew of the 36-foot fishing boat "Carol and Allison" from Wellfleet went missing Wednesday afternoon. According to Coast Guard officials, the crew used a cell phone to make the distress call. The two fishermen were located in a debris field by a Coast Guard helicopter hours later. They were hoisted into the chopper and taken to Air Station Cape Cod.
