Castle BRAVO test The Castle- Bravo test on March 1, 1954, yielded 15megatons, the largest nuclear weapon ever detonated by the United States. By accident the inhabited atolls of Rongelap, Rongerik and Utirik were contaminated with fallout, as was the Japanese fishing trawler Fukuryu Maru or Lucky Dragon. The controversy over fallout that simmered around the Nevada Test Site erupted into international alarm. Views: 19811 Rating:

Courtight Reservior, October, 10, 2008 We are at Courtright Reservior, elevation 8,200 feet, in eastern Fresno County. This time on a cold October 10, 2008. At 7:30 a.m. , it was 25 degrees! We spent the night in a tent. On the water, it was windy, so throw in a chill factor! My friend Jerry Pulley, are I are on this trip again, We caught our limit, then left, because it was so cold out on the water. There we very few other people out on the lake. Views: 18 Rating:

Into the River Into the River A song based on Ezekiel 47. The only loop I used was the drum track (courtesy of ACIDplanet). I played my EB-2 for the Bass track, and used my old HofNot for the multiple electric bass guitar parts. Unfortunately I do not own or play guitar, but I try to make due. The photos are satellite photos of the Truckee River from Mogal to Pyramid Lake in Nevada. 109 of them. The first is a shot that includes the whole route. The last is in the lake. Produced by: The Department of Redundancy Department Productions Proverbs 14:4 Into the River Music and Lyrics: R.J. Miller Into the river up to my ankles That is where I'll be found Flow of the river touching my knees now I hear a rushing sound One thousand cubits measured before me Loin high the waters rise Could not be forded water to drift in And much to my surprise As I was sinking Question before me Son of man have you seen? Banks of the waters laid out before me There was a many tree Waters are flowing the eastern region They go down to the sea Life is a swarming where waters going That is where rest will be Coming about now numbers of fish found According to their kind Spreading their nets wide fishing on the side Many as you can find Miry and marishes shall not be refreshed Salt will be left to brood Along the river leaves will not wither Trees will provide much food Into the river total emersion That is where I'll be found Flow of the river moving inside me I hear a rushing sound One thousand cubits measured behind me Head high the waters rise Could not be forded water to drown in And much to my surprise I started swimming Question before me Son of man have you seen? 1978 Boy Scout Troop 506 Sierra Trek I filmed this week in the Sierra Nevada using Super 8 in August 1978. Originally 9:36, it's still a bit boring at 5:20. Boy Scout Troop 506 in La Jolla went on a Sierra Trek nearly every summer while I was a boy scout. I don't know how much summer snow gliding we could do. The perennial ice pack has receded in recent years. I think this trip started and ended at Wishon Reservoir. Audio added. Views: 189 Rating:
