This area acted as a boundary between the two major Indian tribes, the Juaneno's to the south and Gabrieleno tribes to the north. BEACH FISHING AT POINT WEST CATCHING A FISH (PLAICE) My first fish of the year...at last! caught on freeze dried Ragworm. A Plaice of about ½ a pound in weight (not that big) you can tell it's a Plaice by the bright orange spots. I didn't keep the fish, I placed it back in the sea the video clip shows this with the fish swimming off unharmed. Maybe I'll catch it again when it's grown bigger.
