Oil Creek State Park 5-20-07 It was very chilly and very breezy Sunday afternoon at Petroleum Center, Oil Creek State Park, PA. There were more fisherman than I've ever seen on a late Sunday afternoon. Most everyone was catching something. The action came and went with long periods of no action throught out the late afternoon. I got very chilled and we left around 6 o'clock pm. On the way out we ran into a local that told us we were leaving just before the best fishing of the day‚ they were going to be "slurping." We knew that but what can you do, I got too cold. Catch&Release Bass fishing. We cuaght and released this bass(and others that we didn't get good footage of) while panfishing in April of '07(before bass season opens in PA) on a private pond in PA. Dave caught 'em on a baitfish using light/mid action pole and 6 lb SpiderWire. Ruben manned the camera and netted the fish.
