Alaska Fishing-Silver Salmon-8yr olds first Silver in Seward A great day of fishing on August 1, 2009 in the vicinity of Pony Cove outside of Seward in Resurrection Bay, Alaska. Went with my father-in-law on my neighbors boat. It was great because his 8yr old son caught his first silvers ever, really fighting fish this day and a surprise visit from the neighborhood bald eagle. Seward 21 jun 08 100# Halibut 21 June 2008. This is a better quality version of my original upload. We had one more fish to bring in for the day, two of us were still fishing. Once I hooked into this my initial thought was its, the ocean floor I'm bringing up. A few reels up and I started to get some tugs, that's when the recording started...
