[Milwaukee,WI] Continuous west wind has pushed the warm water out of Milwaukee. Surface temperature is 55 with the coldest water north of the filtration plant. This has brought the fish to the top 40 feet. We are catching all five types of Lake Michigan fish Chinook, Coho and Lake, Brown and Rainbow Trout.

[Milwaukee,WI] The unsettled weather and storms has not effected the action Lake Michigan. Great catches of Chinook, Coho and Lake Lobsters better known as Lake Trout. Some rainbows as well. We had our best action in 55 to 110 feet of water.

[Wisconsin River,WI] How big was the first walleye or sauger that you ever caught?
The first walleye ten year Andrew Allen ever caught was 29" long and the first sauger he ever caught was 22" long! Both were caught right here on Lake Wisconsin!

[Wisconsin River,WI] A long, cold winter was officially put behind us when we made our first open water walleye fishing excursion of the year to the Wisconsin river below the Dells Dam.
Long time friends Mark "Buck" Pings and Kevin Key were more than willing to join me for the first fishing trip of the year. All of us were looking forward to feeling the pull of a walleye or sauger on the end of our line.

The crappie fishing this spring was fun but I was ready to leave it behind and start chasing walleyes. [Wisconsin River,WI] After the day we had yesterday on Lake Wisconsin, I was really wondering if they would be just as hot today. Dewey Schultz and Kim Christians were my guest today. Dewey is a repeat client and proved his fish catching ability to me last fall when he narrowly out fished me in my own boat. Ouch!

[Waukesha County,WI] The last 2 weeks of musky fishing have been very productive despite the roller coaster weather trends we've been experiencing. Clients have boated more than 20 musky in the last 2 weeks, many of them 40 inches and better!! The super sized fish are just starting to show up, but arent interested in our offerings yet.

[Milwaukee,WI] Good numbers on Chinook, Browns and Lake Trout with an occasional Coho. The wind has kept the water cold near shore. The surface is 46 degrees with a break to 43 at 15 feet down. The fish have been high in the water column.
