Very light crowd for a Monday, guess everyone was cleaning up from yesterdays weather...Had the last of the incoming in the AM, just not much of it. Picked away at some keepers, an odd short. Slack tide we caught our pool fish, a 9.1 pound beauty landed by Joe Handley of the Anchor Inn, Union Beach. Once the tide changed the drift went from 0 to 2.5 knots in no-time. Looked a few other spots over, caught a few more fish. Couple guys had 5 nice fish each, not great fishing...just O.K. Last night Bluefishing was very good for Capt.Frank and crew. Fished offshore, caught 5 to 10 pound fish. Some on bait, some on jigs. Managed 2 keeper Stripers also....Chartered this Wends.morning...capt.ron
