Few fish first thing in the AM, didn't see enough life to hang around, moved further south to catch the begining of the incoming, not much there either. Headed offshore of the Highlands, got lucky and found some very good fishing on Blues and some of the biggest bass of the season. A new batch of bunkers are making thier way up the beach, the fish, naturally are with them. Biggest pool fish of the season so far with Dan Broche, Berkley Heights, N.J. landing a great 46 inch, 30.6 pounder to win the pool. Joe Santostephano landed 6 fish, 4 over 20 lbs!! Plenty of bluefish today for some added action...It pays to be adventurious!!! Capt.Ron
