Started the day off in the channel...still had some incoming with the wind against (naturally). Fished a few hard pieces of bottom and picked away waiting for the change. Still a huge roll from yesterday. Got the change, started to fly! Spend the better part of the day at 2 knots..finished up at Sandy Hook channel, nice drift 1.2 knots..a few short fish, nothing like the fishing we had there on Thursday. Back hurts, legs are still wobeling from the past 2 days!! High hook had 5 keepers, small pool fish 3 pounds, and a few customers with none. I'm sure the swell and all the runoff didn't help. Chartered Monday-Tuesday Friday and Saturday this week.....capt.ron
