Captain Ron Santee reports:

Finally some bigger fish! Took all day to catch them, but it was worth it. Started the morning on the end of the incoming, no current and a handfull of short fish. Didn't catch what we read anywhere. Waited for the change of tide and some current, when it did come the bite was no better. Left the area to look around. Fished a small snag and had 7 very nice keepers, the largest a 32 pounder caught by my Dad Capt.Ron Sr., nice to see he hasn't lost his touch. Tom Krako had 2 keepers and the pool along with Rocco Farina keeping 2 fish. Had 4 others that the guys panicked on and blew'em. Fish are nice and fat with all the bait around, 51 degrees on the water temp.......I would think the upcoming week we should see a much better bite......will be adding Friday, Saturday afternoons next week 5 to 10 PM and Sunday 3:30 till 9:00pm. Capt. Frankie will be back at the helm for the afternoon runs...........capt.ron
