Captain Ron Santee reports:

Started out the morning with Bass rolling and fining all around the boat ( I think they were laughing at us) because they sure didn't want to bite. Caught a couple of fish, know where near what we saw....Went up to Romar, another joke there, current ran hard and no bite, skipped on the Knoll because of the current. Headed down the beach, caught 3 fish on the first drop, then had wind against the tide,,,,,could it get worse? Actually not, went further to the South off the Highlands at 12:30 and started wailing the blues....managed a couple of short bass with them, just not enough. After the lack of action in the AM, this was a major stress releaver!! Mostly jig fishing, only 3 fish on clams today. Pool fish caught by Jeff Luick, a very fat 26 pound fish....capt.ron
