Not bad action again today, still plenty of shorts with keepers mixed in. Fished the Channels, caught slack in the AM, by 11 it was moving pretty good. Needed at least 10's to hold the bottom....Now is when you want to bring the heavier rods and sinkers, noddle rods ain't gonna make it! We say the same thing every year and I still hear "I can't feel the bottom or I can't set the hook!! Right equipment for the conditions all the time...PLEASE. Gene Komorrows/Wayne, N.J. had his limit and won the pool with a very nice 6 3/4 pounder today. Dad had an off day (he only had 5 keepers)! Capt. Ron
