Missed yesterdays report, sometimes life gets in the way of business!! Yesterdays action (for us) was nothing to talk about. Caught some fish in the AM, actually had 2 very good drifts, then wind against took over. When the tide did change it ran like hell. Tangles, not too many fish in the deep made for a very tough day. The afternoon trip with Capt. Frank was a different story...anchored up and had a very nice catch of Bluefish. Pretty much non-stop action on 5 to 14 pound fish. "Big John" finally won a pool with a 14 pounder, the night before 16 year old Stacey Moore from Hopatcong, N./J. showed the guys how to do it with a limit catch and a 14 1/2 pound pool fish.......Today we had Gary Perino and the Columbia Bank crew out on a Charter. Very good morning bite for the guys on fish 2 to 7 1/2 pounds. Paul Cuva, Wayne N.J. took the $225 pool with his 7 1/2 pound beauty! Very tough too fish in the current when most guys aren't fishermen, but they braved it out and ended the day with 60 plus keepers! High hook had 7 for a very nice day on the water. Chartered Tuesday AM, Friday and Saturday AM trips this week. Capt.Ron
