Had Tony Bruno and the Bergen County Sherrifs out with us today. Left early and caught slack into the change of tide, good thing cause that was the bite of the day! Fished shallow water, it was straight up and down fishing for 40 minutes. Once the current started to Ebb, that was it. The guys couldn't feel the bites with the hard SW wind and tide running out. Headed for the Reach and the back bay. Picked a few fish here and there along with some bluefish. Certainly didn't catch what we read on the machine. Still a nice day on the water. Wednesday looks to be the same with the wind, shouldn't effect the regulars, there used to it!! capt.ron
