Saturday afternoons fishing was a complete turnaround from the morning trip. Capt.Frank had the boat out, went back to where we DIDN'T catch them in the AM and put 29 very nice size keepers along with 2 Weakfish at 10 and 7 1/2 pounds in the box! Sunday morning started out drifting the clams, had fish on the first 4 passes, even though we had no current. Several keepers and a handfull of shorts. Traffic put an end to that. Went searching for some cleaner water and a bit more current, we found the current (which was way too hard) and the water looked like crap!!! Took a bit of a ride, found some blues and bass on jigs, but that was short lived also, way too many boats scattering the fish. Headed back to the North for the change of tide...no boats, good tide, finished the day with several more keepers....Still nothing to raise any flags about, but after the last few AM trips...a definate plus!
