Today didn't start out like yesterday! Had a strong N to NW wind against the incoming tide...not a pretty picture with a boat load of customers!! Caught a few fish, but it was a one, one pick. Stayed with it awhile, not wanting to leave fish to look for fish. Finally said, the hell with it! Took a ride further off the beach to deeper water, south of where we were yesterday...conditions were still lousy but the bite was 100% better. Caught the change of tide bite, that made the day...several limits on very nice size fish, plenty of action on the 27 inchers also. Lost one at the boat that had to go 30 pounds...guy got excited and gave it that one last hard pull at the net, yanked the hook..see ya! Again only 3 small bluefish and no Horn Dogs (maybe they are endangered). Ended the day with better than 40 keepers for a great bunch of guys.....Capt.Ron
