Details:PowerPro has set the standard is braid fishing line. The braided spectra fiber is strong, smooth, and makes great cast. PowerPro has been used by shallow water light tackle fisherman as well as big game fisherman around the world. Using a mono leader give you the stretch you need for good hook sets while the braid gives you awesome strength to get fish out of the rocks, mangroves, or wrecks. Powerpro is available from 5 to 250lb. It is recommended you use a small amount of mono as backing or electrical tape so that that braid does not spin on the reel. It is also nice to have as a warning when a fish is taking your line.

Fishing lures for bass is great as I dont worry about casting into wrecks or rocks to pull fish out since there is no give. I do fish a short leader with this for a bit of shock. Since than I noted that tackle shops have tons of other braid products now, but I am sticking with my green powerpro. It has not let me down.
