Covered all points on the compass today looking for a bite! Had only 6 bites which turned into six fish, 4 bass (keepers) and 2 Blues. The only other hits were skates! Go figure. After the decent fishing all week, with not many customers, today had to be the day they weren't hungry. The only bite at all seemed to be some jig fish way to the south (Blues) that was it. Maybe tomorrows NEster will stir them up again. Pound nets in the bay had 40,000 pounds of bluefish and 10,000 pounds of Weakfish this morning.....no bunkers. Ah to be a Party Boat Captain!!!! capt.ron
