Very good fishing today, one of the 10 best of the season! First fish of the day 10 1/2 pounder caught by Bill Fierro/Ramsey, N.J.

Tony Bracca, Peapack had second with a 7.4 and Ryan Fritz landed a nice 6.5. A couple of limits and several, 7 keepers in the box. Tons of Peanut Bunker everywhere...the Weaks can't be far behind. Last season we started on the 3rd of Sept. caught fish right away, then it was tough for about a week, then things broke open. Praying for the same this season, as we are going to need it. Can't beleave the NY guys are getting screwed again! I listen to them everyday talking about how most times they have to pull a name out of a hat for a pool winner!! Who the hell is catching all these fish?? How far are we going to let these bastards push us??? It's a totall disgrace, like I said before, you can die for this country, but god forbide you keep a 16 1/2 inch fluke!!! BS.........Capt.Ron
