Captain Ron Santee reports:
Started the AM out with a pick of fish. Mostly shorts and slots until 10 year old John Maka of Mine Hill N.J. hooked into his first Striper, a 36 inch beauty! Managed to catch a couple more keepers then the bottom fell out. Took a look around and dropped on some nice readings, had another shot of fish for 20 minutes till the wind went South and that was it. Water temp still only 47 today. Did manage to find some 51 degree, but it was in 9 ft of water, no current there so we caught squat! For April 11th I am still pretty happy about the pick the last few days...it can only get better..........Capt. Ron
