Started the morning with not much of a drift in the channels. Picked at a few fish though. Thought for sure when the current ran we would never be able to put the day in, was waiting for mega tangles with todays gang. Didn't happen, current at it's hardest ran 1.2 knots and we drifted straight! No more than normal tangles for a weekend. Had a very nice 5 1/2 pound Sea Bass, 3 Fluke that went 6 1/2, 6 and 5 pounds for the bigger ones. Scott Ure had the hot hand today (again), boating his limit. Tom Krako, Atlantic Highlands had 5 nice fish along with a 6 1/2 pounder..Bluefishing last night was very good on fish 5 to 12 pounds plus 1 keeper Striper...Keeping our fingers crossed on the weather the next few days, report has changed 3 times already!!
