Gravel and rocky secondary points are producing well using crank baits and Rat L Traps. Deeper rocky banks and rip rap with 6 feet of water or more is also producing well on crank baits and jigs.

Bass fishing is good The Largemouth are being caught on several patterns. Gravel and rocky secondary points are producing well using crankbaits and Rat L Traps. Deeper rocky banks and rip rap with 6 feet of water or more is also producing well. The Spotted Bass are still out on the deeper channel ledges and points. Stroking a 3/8 or 1/2 ounce stanley jig in a crawfish pattern with a Zoom pumpkin seed chunk trailer is working great, crank baits and carolina rigs are working well also.

World famous Lake Weiss Alabama The Crappie Capital of the World Fishing Report. Bass fishing is good The fish that went shallow have moved back to secondary points and deeper rocky banks following the shad. Some fish are still deep on the ledges in the main lake.

Bass fishing is good Most Large Mouth have moved shallow following the shad with the falling water temperature. Some fish are still deep in the main lake. I have been seeing some spotted bass surface action early in the morning on the old Coosa river channel near Yellow Creek A shallow running crank bait like the new Gizz 4 crank bait from Smack Tackle www.smacktackle.com is working awesome right now !
