What a crappy day today!! Huge swell, outgoing tide against the East wind, a sprinkle here and there..and no bite, doesn't get any worse than that. It was most expected though after the past 2 days, still doesn't make it any better. Tried to fish the channels after the change of tide, that lasted all of 1/2 a drift, got the hell outta there with the roll. Fished around the point of the hook, picked some shorts and a few keepers, lost one nice one at the boat, guy slacked off for that split second, gave the fish a chance to turn his head and dive..you know the rest, big fish story! Yes, it had to be 25 pounds...I swear!!!! Chartered Friday and Saturday morning. Capt.Ron
