33.5 inch Seatrout Caught In Mosquito Lagoon

North Mosquito Lagoon
A recent Mosquito Lagoon flats fishing charter with my good clients Tracy and Karen of Daytona Beach had a exceptional catch of this 33.5 inch Seatrout, pictured below held by Tracy, she was a post spawn fish which means she was lighter and thinner than before spawning, still weighing 9.5 pounds, this great fish was released and swam away on the shallow grass flat as we watched on. We also caught this great 25 inch Trout, held by Karen below. Several Redfish caught this trip up to a released 31.5 inch Red with a couple of upper slot fish kept for a fish dinner.
I offer Mosquito Lagoon Flats Fishing trips for Redfish and Seatrout, for the novice or experienced angler alike. I also offer Indian River Backcountry Fishing trips, that is mixed bag fishing for Seatrout, Redfish, Black Drum, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, and more. On the average Backcountry trip we catch between 10 and 15 (or more) different species of saltwater fish. This type of trip can be extremely entertaining for beginners or experienced anglers.
