Miami, Florida - Saltwater Fishing Report
Florida Bay
Steven Tejera

Today we fished the shallow flats of Florida Bay. We fished artificial all day and had to deal with some crazy winds. The morning started a bit chilly with clear skies and low water(the windy weather all week has blown some water out front and east of flamingo). We came across some really nice redfish a few nice snook and some trout. The only problem was getting the artificial in the right place with the crazy winds blowing out a good cast. After a few missed fish we got a nice overslot redfish and trout that were layed up on the flats. All in all it was a great day in what I call paradise. Weather cooperating I will be back on the water this week, look forward to another report this coming week!
