A little slower bite for us yesterday afternoon. We got on the water shortly after 4 p.m. for a 5hr trip and headed out to troll Walleyes Choice spinners behind in-line weights and bottom bouncers. We did start catching fish right away on our first pass, but the rest of the afternoon was much slower than the previous couple of days. The fish seemed to still be there, but in a much more neutral mood. Many light bites and a few lost fish yesterday. We still managed 11 nice fish for the guys to take back to camp. No particular color was better than another, but you can't go wrong with I-51 or similar. The moon was coming up just as we pulled lines and it was a beautiful ride back to the harbor. Here's some picture of yesterday's trip. I don't know how long this nice weather is going to last, but it sure is nice after such a cold summer. Good luck from all of us in the Bay de Noc area...
