BASS Weekend

This report is for Thur, Fri, and Saturday. Thur and Friday dad and I prefished and found it tough but when you got a bit it was a good 4-5 pound fish and more bites were nearby. Thur boated 6 and Fri boated 2 fish and shook most off. On Saturday I fished the Tenn East BASS Weekend. Lots of great local fisherman fished the event with 87 boats. The day was great with my co-angler and I catching around 30 with all but a few being shorts. We threw rattletraps and crankbaits in shallow grass in 3-6 ft. My co-angler came in 2nd with 3 fish that was 14+ lbs and I had 21+ lbs which was good enough for 8th and a nice check. There was 6 bags within a pound from 21-22 lbs with Jerry Wells crushing the field winning by more than 2 lbs with almost 27 lbs. Congrats Jerry as he is one of if not the best on the lake. I was happy with the catch having one near 6 just couldn't get the 2nd big bite the rest being twin 4 lbers. The fishing has really picked up even with all the traffic the fish are biting. Sorry for no pics.

I have March 16th,17th, and 30th. Also have a few days left in April.
