The last week has been amazing on Guntersville. The big fish are going shallow to spawn and moving off bed and eating. Each day catching between 30-50 fish with a bunch of 2-3 lbers with big fish in the mix. Last week had one over 9 lbs, one over 8 lbs, and numerous over 6 lbs. The best pattern is fishing shallow 1-3 ft on with Go 2 Bait soft plastics but some bigger fish were caught on crankbaits in 4-8ft on offshore ledges. The fishing will only get better as more fish move off beds and start eating. The topwater and spinnerbait bite will be awesome this year. In May I have the 5th,7th-9th,11th-13th, and dates after the 16th.
