The drum were present again this morning right at daybreak with two outstanding fisherman, Ron Phillips and his wife Betty from Orange City FL., putting 4 black drum in the boat within 45 minutes. Not to mention jacks, reds, and trout in on the action. We had a school of from what I could tell was easily over 200 fish plowing through the flat destroying every baitfish in their path. It looked as if these jacks were stretched over 200 yards long. Good size fish too.

The drum were an early morning bite, but I talked with a fellow fishing guide and he said they showed up again in "packs" of 50-70 fish after we got off the water this afternoon.

Here's some pics today and the bite should remain hot throughout the fall and winter months.
