Black drum are still on our flats in the Mosquito Lagoon and put up one good battle on light tackle, almost better than our famous redfish. Perfect size schools are going between 40-60 fish and are hanging pretty tight together. Redfish, jacks, and even bluefish seem to be "tagging" along with them. Sometimes when you make the cast to the school and hook a fish expecting a black drum, you could be in for a surprise! Even though you will see the drum within 20 feet from your boat. Of course I cannot give away where they can be found, but give me a ring and we'll take em' on!!!
