Mosquito Lagoon is known for it's bull redfish that school up this time of year in 2-4 feet of water, and can put on quit a show on some calm mornings all tailing bunched up together. One of the only places that redfish spend their entire lives instead of moving off shore to spawn, our lagoon will produce a true trophy of a lifetime! Alot of these fish will go well over the 40 inch range and on 10 pound light tackle, that's pretty hard to beat!

Trout fishing is also at it's best with some "gator trout" in the mix, but you will have to sometimes battle through the undersize fish. It's pretty easy to get your limit and catch over 50 almost every trip if you get into them.

Book now for that shot at the bulls, this IS the time of year!

Bio: Growing up on the east coast of Florida I started fishing at a very early age mostly on the inshore waters of the Indian River Lagoon. Now with the experience of learning every corner of the back waters and fish behavior patterns, I am a full time fishing guide on the Mosquito Lagoon. Besides writing monthly fishing reports for my website, Coastal Angler Magazine, and various other organizations, I also enjoy working with and am on the pro staff for Rip Tide Lures, High Roller Lures, Berkley, Pure Fishing, Daiichi Hooks, and Costa Del Mar Sunglasses.
