Bass fishing reports by Caddo Lake Guide Service. Junebug, watermelon, and redbug colored lizards and senko type baits are working on the cypress also. The vegetation like pads and hydrilla are beginning to top out on the lake so get your flukes, frogs, and buzzbaits ready because once the water warms the topwater bite should be hot for the next couple of months.
Caddo Lake back to full pool with fishing report by

The lake is back to normal levels with the recent rains at 168.75 as of today, normal pool is 168.50. Water temps are ranging from 48-54 degrees and parts of the lake are very muddy while other parts are extremely clear. Most of the north bank areas on the Texas side are clear while more of your open areas are muddy. Most of Jeems Bayou is clear to stained.

Fall time bass fishing at its finest on the beautiful and historic Caddo Lake. Bass fishing is great right now. With the cooler water temps the bass are just now beginning their fall feeding frenzy and can be caught on a variety of lures from topwaters to Texas rigged worms. The bass bite has gotten better over the last week and will only get better over the next days and weeks to come.

Its fall time and that means heavy feeding from the largemouth bass over the couple of months. We are just now starting to catch some good numbers of big bass that are schooling on big shad.

Water temps have been ranging from 81 early in the day to 87 later in the day. The lake is a little low and on a slow fall. A Cyclone Lightning Blade has been working pretty decent on the cypress trees in 1-3 ft. of water.
