SALTWATER FISHING: Fantastic fishing conditions still continue here on the north coast of British Columbia. Weather is very warm and we have not seen rain for quite some time (although needed for river conditions). Outside waters have been tough to get to as wind has been a factor for more than a month.

Week 1 has proved to be logistically challenging as snow pack has led to use snow crafts to get into prime pools. Paul the crowbar, and Dom the hammer entered the ice age for the season starter.

Today we spend drifting the river in search of wild Steelhead. The morning was very cold and windy, I wondered if the weather was ever going to change. The snow starts to fall and we open the thermos for a cup of hot coffee enroute to the first pool of the day.

With the weatherman pulling his hair out calling for rain it is producing a downfall of fresh snow, again. We are wondering if were ever going to get to the river and fish with a boat. Today we decided to do a walk-in to one of our favorite pools called “Indy's Pool”.
