Sandy Hook, New Jersey - Saltwater Fishing Report
Bay

Light crowd today with the weather report and the last day of the holiday. No matter, fishing was good for the customers who showed. Rocco once again had 5 nice keepers, Brothers Tom and Jerry (no-pun intended) landed 4 each along with countless shorts. Jim Muha, Morris Plains, started the day off with a 7 1/2 pounder ending it with another 4 pounder and 4 keepers. Jim found some giant spearing in a local market, that with a strip of squid proved to be his bait of the day.Good all day action.

Last nights trip only produced 1 Bass and some Bluefish, not good fishing too say the least. Hopeing tonight is better with a decent crowd.

We are Chartered Tuesday, Friday and Saturday in the morning this week...Thanks, Capt.ron
