[Long Island Sound,CT] Sunday, the Kingfisher had two trips that were typical live bait trips for big stripers. The past two weeks have been phenominal fishing with the live bait cooperating as well as the many big striped bass that have taken up residence in the eastern end of Long Island Sound.

[Long Island Sound,CT] Had one trip this weekened for the Kingfisher on saturday. Headed east away from the fleet of diamond jiggers and wire line trollers. The choice paid off with action for the whole tide.

[Norwalk Islands,CT] Timing is everything when fishing for spring stripers !! t seems that the bite this Spring is timed to afternoon sunlit days. My last outing started with pleanty of fish under the boat but no bites. Then like someone had turned on the switch (2:00) the bite was on!!

Frozen guides/reel rollers/slides and lines made for a frustrating fishing experience the previous week.
